Do you know the Botanical Garden of Rome?

In the ancient park of Villa Corsini on the slopes of the Gianicolo, once residence of Cristina of Sweden, the Orto Botanico di Roma extends over 12 hectares and houses more than 3000 plant species.

A real oasis of biodiversity managed by the Department of Environmental Biology of the Sapienza University of Rome.

In a journey without borders you can go into a stretch of Mediterranean forest, cross one of the richest collections of bamboo in Europe, reflected in the pond of the Japanese Garden, Stop in the shade of century-old trees to admire the domes that shine under the sky of the capital.

And then the Italian Vineyard, the rose garden, the simple vegetable garden with medicinal plants, greenhouses and aquatic plants: the Botanical Garden has an invaluable natural heritage that you can discover in Ortidea together with your whole family.
